Pennington County Highway Warm Shed Wind Damage Repair

This notice announces that sealed bids are being accepted by the Pennington County Buildings & Grounds Department for the repair of the Pennington County Highway Warm Shed due to wind damage. Bids must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Pennington County Highway Department, and attendance is strongly encouraged for prospective bidders.Bid documents, plans, and specifications can be obtained from Hermanson Egge Engineering, Inc. located at 2693 Commerce Road – Unit C, Rapid City, SD 57702. A deposit of $100 is required for each set of construction documents, which will be refunded if the documents are returned in good condition within 15 days after the letting date. Digital plans are also available for download at the Construction Industry Center (CIC) website, and interested parties can obtain a link by contacting the CIC.Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bidder's name and address, along with the phrase 'Bid for Pennington County Highway Warm Shed Wind Damage Repair'. Faxed bids and adjustments will not be accepted. The Pennington County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities.
