Quantum Technology Commercialization Hubs

ESD anticipates selecting up to four qualified organizations to each create a world-class Quantum Technology Commercialization Hub (Hub). The creation of each Hub may involve construction of a new building or the expansion or modification of an existing structure. ESD anticipates providing a total of up to sixty million dollars ($60,000,000) to up to four (4) entities that meet the scope of work and receive the highest evaluations. While it is anticipated that ESD will provide awards of approximately fifteen million dollars ($15,000,000) to each successful respondent, ESD specifically reserves the right to provide more or less funding to each successful respondent based on the relative strength, merit and demonstrated financial need of the various successful proposals. Each designated Hub will serve as a regional anchor for accelerating the commercialization and adoption of quantum technologies. At a minimum, each Respondent must be able to undertake the following:   Establish and Operate a Physical Hub Advance Commercialization of Quantum Technologies Incubate and Accelerate Quantum-Related Startups Engage Industry and Drive Technology Adoption Coordination across the NYS Quantum Hub Network Reporting and Performance Measurement   Business enterprises awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: None
