Sealed bids are being accepted for the construction of the Hill City WWTF Improvements project in Hill City, SD. Bids must be submitted at 803 Industrial Ave. Rapid City, SD 57702 by September 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (Mountain Time), at which point all bids will be publicly opened. Please note that emailed bids will not be accepted.Contract documents, including bid proposal forms, drawings, and project manuals, will be available for review starting August 17, 2026, at various locations including AGC of Wyoming in Cheyenne, WY, and the Construction Industry Center in Rapid City, SD. The invitation to bid will also be advertised in publications such as the Rapid City Journal and the Black Hills Pioneer.Interested bidders can obtain copies of the bidding documents from the CMAR's website. Bidders are responsible for printing the project documents.An on-site pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM Mountain Time at 1130 Smokey Dr. Hill City, SD 57745. Attendance is recommended but not mandatory. It is advisable for contractors to inspect the project site before the bid opening. All bids must comply with the forms referenced in the proposed contract documents. The responsibility for the timely delivery of mailed bids lies with the bidder. Please remember that emailed bids will not be accepted.The successful bidder may need to provide a contract performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. The project may be partially funded by a Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan, and must comply with various requirements including DBE Program requirements and Davis-Bacon wage rates. The City of Hill City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or proposals.
