Town of Orrington - Boat Landing Construction

The Town of Orrington is soliciting bids for the construction of a boat landing on the Penobscot River. The project entails construction of an access roadway, parking lots, and boat launch. The project has received all Federal, State, and local permits. Intertidal work on the boat launch is restricted to late fall but all upland work can commence immediately. This project has been funded by Greenfield Environmental Trust in conjunction with Mallinkrodt and is one of the many beneficial environmental projects being completed on the Penobscot River. Jacobs is the marine engineer of record and has designed and developed the project. A complete bid package can be found at the Town's website www.Orrington.Org. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for August 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM. A site visit will follow this meeting at approximately 10:30.
