C.C. Williams Headworks Rehabilitation and Odor Control

A. Work of the Project generally includes concrete surface rehabilitation within the headworks channels and installation of a biotrickling filter odor control system and associated ductwork. More specifically, the Work includes, but is NOT limited to, construction of: 1. Biotrickling Odor Control System a. Foundation slab b. Air duct system c. Blowers d. Biotrickling filter silo e. Carbon polishing system 2. Headworks Structural Rehabilitation a. Concrete repair work within the headworks channel to include concrete surface repair, crack repair, and necessary form work. b. Epoxy coating within the headworks channels as noted. c. Addition of a continuous gas monitoring system within the headworks channels. d. Addition of a worker air safety monitoring and notification system. 3. PCEPS Catwalk a. Addition of a platform catwalk on PCEPS to access pumps for maintenance. 4. Rehabilitation of Primary Clarifier Elements a. Repair and coating of the primary clarifier effluent boxes (4). b. Cleaning and coating of the primary clarifier mechanism center columns (4). 5. Site improvements to support items above including yard piping, paving, grading, fencing, and site restoration. 6. Site electrical improvements to support items above including electrical power supply, control systems, lighting, security, and provisions for integration.
