Snow Removal Services

The Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority (SARAA) is seeking bids for snow removal services at Harrisburg International Airport. The awarded contract will require the contractor to perform snow and ice removal on all streets, parking lots, and some sidewalks at the airport. The contract duration is from November 15, 2026, to March 31, 2027, with the possibility of two one-year extensions. The work includes all necessary labor, supervision, transportation, and equipment to clear snow and ice from 6 miles of public access roadway owned by SARAA. Snow melting materials will be provided by SARAA.A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the maintenance conference room at Harrisburg International Airport, Building 513, Airport Drive, Middletown, PA 17057. After the meeting, there will be a one-time pre-bid tour of the areas to be cleared.<br.Interested firms should submit their bids by 2 p.m. EDT on Thursday, September 10, 2026, when the public bid opening will occur in the McIntosh Board Room on the third floor of the HIA airport terminal. SARAA reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
