Furnish & Deliver Powder Activated Carbon (PAC)

The North Jersey District Water Supply Commission is seeking to purchase approximately 288 tons of Powder Activated Carbon (PAC) for a two-year contract term for use at its Water Filtration Plant in Wanaque, New Jersey. The estimated quantity may vary, and the Commission reserves the right to adjust the order without additional compensation if the actual quantity is less than estimated. Bidders must provide a Chemical and Physical Analysis for each PAC proposed, along with a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). Sealed bids will be accepted until 1:30 PM on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at the Commission's office. Bidders must also submit a half-pound sample of each PAC formulation by Tuesday, September 22, 2026, to be eligible to bid. Bid specifications can be requested via email starting Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from Margaret M. Maddalena, Contract Administrator, at mmaddalena@njdwsc.com. All bids must be submitted on the provided forms and in sealed envelopes labeled with the contract number and title. Bidders are required to comply with New Jersey statutes regarding discrimination and must provide a valid Business Registration Certificate. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the contract price, not exceeding $20,000, as a guarantee of contract execution.
