Public Sale of Town-Owned Property

The Town of Dover has decided to sell certain real properties that are not needed for public use. The properties being offered for sale include Block 1706, Lot 4 (W. Crystal Street, Dover, NJ), Block 1408, Lot 15 (Losey Street, Dover, NJ), and Block 506, Lot 10 (14 Ann Street, Dover, NJ). These properties will be sold to the highest bidder through a public sale where separate sealed bids will be accepted. The bidding process will be advertised in the Daily Record on August 7, 2026, and August 14, 2026, in accordance with the New Jersey Local Lands and Buildings Law. Bids will be accepted for a period of twenty days after the last advertisement, with a deadline on or about September 3, 2026. Bidders must submit their bids in a sealed envelope marked 'Bid for Town-Owned Property' and include the specific property reference. Bids should be delivered to the Town of Dover Municipal Building at 37 N. Sussex Street, Dover, New Jersey, 07801, Attn: Town Clerk. The Town reserves the right to reject any bids that are not accepted. Successful bidders must provide a deposit of 10% of the bid amount and are responsible for additional costs related to the sale.
