2026 Road Repairs

Sealed bids are being requested by the Borough of Pennsbury Village for the 2026 Road Repair project. Bids must be submitted by 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read aloud at a Borough Council meeting at 6:30 P.M. on the same day.Interested parties can view the Profile and Bid Schedule for this project online at www.niraengineers.com. All bid documents can be requested via email at bids@niraengineers.com. Electronic bid documents are available for a fee of $25.00, while printed bid documents can be obtained for $60.00, with an additional shipping charge of $15.00 if requested. Payments should be made to NIRA Consulting Engineers, Inc.Each bid must include a Bid Bond in the form of a Certified Check or Corporate Surety Bid Bond, amounting to ten percent (10%) of the bid proposal, made out to the Borough of Pennsbury Village. Only bids from contractors who have obtained documents directly from NIRA Consulting Engineers, Inc. will be accepted during the bid opening. Successful bidders will be required to provide a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond as specified in the Contract Documents. Compliance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 and the Public Works Employment Verification Act (PWEVA) is mandatory. Bidders must adhere to the Instructions to Bidders. No bid or any part thereof may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days following the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts of bids and to waive technical defects in any bid.
