RFP: Boat Launch Floats Replacement

The Port of Everett is soliciting proposals from qualified marine float manufacturers and fabricators for the design, engineering, fabrication, and delivery of six (6) new floating docks for its public boat launch facility located at 605 10th Street, Everett, Washington. The installation of the floats will be performed by others. The Project is replacing the existing wood launch floats with a vendor-designed system that utilizes the existing concrete guide piles and ramp infrastructure while providing enhanced durability, stability, accessibility, and long-term performance in a tidal marine environment. The Port is seeking innovative, low-maintenance solutions that incorporate durable materials, readily available replacement components, and proven marine construction practices. The selected Contractor will be responsible for engineering, shop drawings, fabrication, delivery, and installation oversight of a complete float system designed to meet the Port's performance-based requirements for public boating access. A pre-proposal meeting will be held at the Port’s Waterfront Center, 1205 Craftsman Way, Suite 200, Everett, WA 98201 at the date and time listed above. Proposers are encouraged to attend the pre-proposal meeting, although attendance is not required. The site is open to the public and is available for site visits at 605 10th St., Everett, WA 98201.
