Carpentry Services

The Rahway Board of Education is seeking competitive bids for carpentry services as per the New Jersey statutes. Interested bidders can obtain all necessary specifications and forms by sending a written request to Eric Burnside, the School Business Administrator/Board Secretary, at the Rahway Board of Education, located at 1139 Kline Place, Rahway, New Jersey 07065. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Office of the School Business Administrator by the specified deadline. The envelope should clearly state the title 'Carpentry Services', the bid number '#09-202627', and the name and address of the bidder. Bids will be opened on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Board Offices. Bidders may also submit their bids in person at the bid opening meeting before the deadline. The School Business Administrator will publicly open all bids at the designated time, and no bids will be accepted after this time. Electronic submissions via email are not permitted. Bidders must comply with specific state requirements and submit a statement of ownership as per New Jersey law. Additionally, a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check for $17,500.00 must accompany each bid. All contractors must have a valid New Jersey Public Works Contractor's Registration Certificate at the time of bid submission. The Board reserves the right to reject any non-responsive bids or all bids and to waive minor informalities.
