INVITATION TO BIDDERSSealed Bids addressed to Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 70,will be received at the office of Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc., 501 South Austin Avenue Suite 1310, Georgetown, Texas, 78626, until 3:00 P.M. Local Time, September 16th, 2026, and then publicly opened and read for “Earthwork and Drainage Improvements for Chapman Ranch Phases 1 and 2 Mass Grading” for Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 70. In addition to the opening of sealed Bids at the address above, you may view the public opening of sealed Bids via Microsoft Teams (see online CivCast for the meeting invite).Scope of Work of the Contract Documents includes the following: Furnishing, installing, and providing all labor and material required for the construction of erosion controls, drainage, mass grading, and miscellaneous items more fully described in the drawings and specifications.Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held in person at 501 South Austin Avenue Suite 1310, Georgetown, Texas, 78626, and can be joined remotely via Microsoft Teams (see CivCast for the meeting invite) on August 11th, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. Local Time. Attendance by each prospective bidder or its representative at the pre-bid conference is MANDATORY, and no Bid will be opened unless the bidder or representative was present at the pre-bid conference.Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid bond or a certified or cashier’s check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract Documents and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates and Bonds within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the successful bidder. If a certified or cashier’s check is provided, the successful bidder shall deliver, at the bid opening address, the original certified or cashier’s check within one (1) business day of receipt of the bid opening.Bidding documents may be examined at 501 South Austin Avenue Suite 1310, Georgetown, Texas, 78626 or may be obtained by prospective bidders or suppliers upon payment of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00 non-refundable plus cost of delivery) for each set of documents at 501 South Austin Avenue Suite 1310, Georgetown, Texas, 78626. Checks should be made payable to Kimley-Horn and Associates. No cash will be accepted. An electronic PDF version of the bid documents can be obtained online on CivCast.By submitting a Bid, bidder acknowledges and agrees that the Contract Documents may be accepted, executed or agreed to through the use of an electronic signature.The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except the time for submitting a Bid. The successful bidder, if any, will be the responsible bidder, which will be most advantageous and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply to this Bid and the bidder agrees that the Contract Documents can be terminated if the bidder knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter.
