SEALED BIDS for JOB NO. 2026-1290, KAHALUʻU BOOSTERS A & B REPAIR, District of North Kona, County of Hawai‘i, State of Hawai‘i, will be received ELECTRONICALLY by the Department of Water Supply, County of Hawai‘i, until September 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. when they will be publicly opened. Bids received after the time fixed for opening or delivered elsewhere other than specified herein will not be considered. This project generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to remove the existing booster pumps, stuffing boxes, motors, and all appurtenant materials; chlorination and testing of the booster pump assemblies; and perform all incidental work necessary to complete repair in accordance with the specifications. To be eligible to submit a bid, the Bidder, or subcontractor, must possess a valid State of Hawai‘i C-57a or C-68 Contractor’s license. A pre-bid meeting shall be scheduled for August 17, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the Department of Water Supply’s Kona Baseyard located at 78-6717 Mamalahoa Hwy, Holualoa, HI 96725. Please notify the project engineer, Mr. Samuel Adler, (808) 961-8790, by August 14, 2026 to indicate your attendance. Should no notifications be received, the pre-bid meeting shall be cancelled . Site visits shall be by request only, contact project engineer to coordinate visit. ALL BIDS SHALL BE UPLOADED ONTO PUBLIC PURCHASE ONLY. NO EMAIL OR HARD COPY SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Notice and Instructions to Bidders, Official Proposal and Special provisions must be downloaded. All questions and requests for clarifications must be submitted through the Public Purchase website.
