Electrical Maintenance & Lighting Repair Services

The RTA is requesting proposals from qualified Proposers to provide routine electrical system maintenance and lighting repair services for the San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority (RTA) Bus Maintenance Facility (BMF) interior lighting, exterior perimeter lighting, parking lot lighting, and any other lighting system equipment at the North County Transit facility (Paso Yard) and South County Transit (SCT) as maintained by the RTA. In addition, the RTA has over 350 bus stops located throughout the County of San Luis Obispo many of which have solar and other lighting elements.• The BMF is located at 253 Elks Lane in San Luis Obispo, CA 93401• The Paso Yard is located at 1734 Paso Robles Street, Paso Robles, CA 93445 • SCT is located at 800 Rodeo Drive, Arroyo Grande, CA 93420The Successful Bidder shall propose on semi-annual inspection and maintenance services for the RTA bus stops, the BMF solar panels and additional maintenance and repair services hourly rates.The project scope of work (Exhibit 1) and the cost proposal form (Appendix C) include information on the number and approximate size of the buildings and lighting to be maintained under this service contract as well as the type of services the RTA is requesting to be done on a semi-annual basis or as-needed / emergency basis as determined by the Facilities and Maintenance Manager. It should be noted that there are several level 2 EV charging stations located at the BMF which may require additional maintenance, as well as maintenance of planned future charging stations at the remote yards in the North and South County. The existing and future DC EV fast chargers will not be part of the scope of this bid.
