Professional Cemetery Staff Services

The New York State Veterans Cemetery – Finger Lakes, serves as a final resting place for Veterans, their spouses, and dependents. The contractor shall provide professional cemetery burial services, ensuring dignified and respectful handling of all headstone and marker settings, and groundskeeping activities. All work shall comply with NCA standards (as outlined in 38 CFR Part 38 and NCA guidelines) under the direction of the Cemetery Director or designee). The contractor shall supply all necessary staff. These services will act as a supplement to current state staffing as needed. The following minimum requirement must be met by each Bidder: The Bidder shall have at least one year of experience operating heavy equipment for excavation, site preparation, monument or foundation setting, grounds maintenance, and snow removal.
