Late or emailed submissions will not be considered. 2. PROJECT OVERVIEW & SCOPE The Town Belgrade is seeking written quotations from qualified vehicle dealers/manufacturers for the purchase of a single new, unused 2026 or 2027 One-Ton Cab Chassis Crew Cab or approved equivalent. The vehicle will be used primarily for municipal Facilities / Public Works operations. 3. QUOTATION FORMAT & PRICING Please provide a breakdown of your pricing on a Vendor Quotation Form or list out separately Please note: The Town of Belgrade is exempt from Federal and State taxes and as such, should not be included in the bid prices. 4. VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS All quoted vehicles must meet or exceed the following minimum criteria: • Vehicle Type: Heavy-Duty Pro/WT/Base 1-ton Single Rear Axle Crew Cab (non-Dually) • Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR): 10,000 to 12,000 lbs. • Engine/Fuel: 6.6 V8 (or larger) - Gasoline • Transmission: Automatic • Color: White exterior, Gray Vinyl interior • Compliance: Must comply with all applicable Maine EPA and BMV safety standards. 4a. REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION Along with your price quotation, please include: • Full manufacturer specifications and warranty details for the chassis and upfit equipment. • Estimated delivery lead time (in days/weeks) after receipt of order. • Proof of any municipal/government fleet discounts, if applicable. • Completed Non-Collusion or Local Tax Compliance forms (if required by your municipal code). • All bids, notifications, claims, and bid documents must be signed by an individual authorized to bind the bidder. The individual signing certifies, under penalty of perjury, that he or she has the legal authority to bind the bidder. 6. EVALUATION FACTORS The municipality will award the contract based on, but not limited to, the following criteria: 1. Total Price 2. Compliance with Specifications 3. Delivery Lead Time 4. Proximity of Authorized Service Center and Parts Availability 5. Warranty Length and Terms Additional information: Non-performance of the successful bidder in terms of specifications shall be basis for termination of the contract bid. The town shall not pay for services, equipment, or supplies which are unsatisfactory. Vendors will be given reasonable opportunity before termination of contract to correct deficiencies. The successful bidder may not provide purchased items or services under this contract until authorized to do so by the receipt of a purchase order from the Town of Belgrade.
