Request for Proposal: Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part A: Services in Tri-County Region

The NYC Health Department is the recipient of the RWHAP Part A Emergency Relief grant in the U.S. – Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Parts A & B cooperative agreement from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)’s Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). These funds are used to support core medical and supportive services for people with HIV in eligible metropolitan areas (EMAs) hardest hit by the HIV epidemic. The New York (NY) EMA for the RWHAP Part A grant includes the five boroughs of NYC (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island) and Putnam, Rockland, and Westchester Counties (Tri-County Region). PHS, on behalf of the NYC Health Department, is soliciting proposals from eligible applicants in response to the seven new NY HIV Planning Council directives via eight service categories: • Service Category 1: Emergency Financial Assistance Services in Tri-County • Service Category 2: Oral Health Care Services in Tri-County • Service Category 3: Medical Transportation Services in Tri-County • Service Category 4: Medical Case Management Services in Tri-County • Service Category 5: Psychosocial Support Services in Tri-County • Service Category 6: Mental Health Services in Tri-County • Service Category 7: Food and Meal Services in Tri-County • Service Category 8: Medical Nutrition Therapy Services in Tri-County • Applicants applying for Medical Nutrition Therapy Services in Tri-County (SC8) must also apply for Food and Meal Services in Tri-County (SC7).
