Engineering Services for Yuba City Wastewater Treatment Facility HVAC Improvements Project

The Public Works Department is requesting proposals from qualified engineering consultants to provide professional engineering services for the assessment, planning, design, bidding, and construction support associated with the replacement and upgrade of the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems serving the City of Yuba City Wastewater Treatment Facility Laboratory. The work will include evaluation of the existing HVAC systems and related building conditions; investigation of known temperature-control, airflow, ventilation, moisture, and leakage issues; development and comparison of feasible improvement alternatives; preparation of plans, specifications, calculations, and construction cost estimates; bidding assistance; and engineering support during construction. The selected consultant will also be expected to address laboratory operational requirements, controls, commissioning, temporary systems or phasing, hazardous-material coordination, and measures necessary to minimize disruption to ongoing laboratory operations. Proposals submitted in response to this RFP will be used as the basis for selecting the consultant team. Consultant proposals will be evaluated and ranked according to the criteria provided in this RFP. All questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted through Public Purchase by the deadline identified in the RFP. Responses to questions will be posted on Public Purchase, and it is the responsibility of proposers to check for updates and addenda.
