The project involves the construction of a 62,945 square foot building that will house various veterinary operations, including laboratories for the Pennsylvania Animal Diagnostic Laboratory System and the Pennsylvania Equine Toxicology Research Laboratory. The facility will include BSL-2 and BSL-3 lab spaces, necropsy areas, and office space, designed according to plans from SMP Architects.A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the New Bolton Campus, located at 382 West Street Road, Kennett Square, PA 19348.Bidders can access all bid documents at www.buildingconnected.com, where creating an account and accessing the documents is free of charge. Note that a bid bond is not required.Bids must be submitted through the Building Connected platform, and they will remain sealed until the bid opening, which is set for Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM prevailing time. Proposals cannot be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days following the bid opening, except as allowed by Pennsylvania law.
