Escalator Replacement

Bids are being solicited for the replacement of escalators at the BMO Center. Bids must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. local time on Friday, August 28, 2026, either in person at the office of Rockford Arena Venues Entertainment Authority located at 300 Elm Street, Rockford, IL 61101, or electronically via email to wfolk@RockfordLive.com. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the specified time and location. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM, where attendees should meet at the Security entrance on the Church St. side of the building. Bids submitted after the designated opening time will not be accepted. Bid documents can be obtained by emailing wfolk@RockfordLive.com. Bidders must include compliance information as specified in the bid documents, adhering to the laws of the State of Illinois regarding Fair Employment Practices and the City of Rockford's Ordinance on Equal Employment and Business Opportunity. Bids lacking the required compliance items will not be read or considered. All contracts for public works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The Rockford Arena Venues Entertainment Authority retains the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities.
