2026 Price Street Guardrail Project

Sealed bids are being accepted for the Lexington Township 2026 Price Street Guardrail Project at the Lexington Township Office located at 14555 Gaskill Drive NE, Alliance, Ohio. Bids will be received until 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, and will be publicly opened at 7:00 PM on the same day.Beginning July 31, 2026, interested parties can obtain copies of the specifications and bid forms from the Lexington Township Office. For inquiries, you can contact them at 330-823-7627 or via email at lextwp@sbcglobal.net.All bids must be accompanied by a proper certificate for corporations not chartered in Ohio, confirming their authorization to conduct business in Ohio. Additionally, each bid must include a bid guaranty in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid, or a bid guaranty bond for the full amount of the bid. Compliance with Chapter 153 of the Ohio Revised Code and project specifications is required.Bids must conform to the Ohio Revised Code, and all proposals must be submitted using the forms provided with the specifications. Bids should be delivered to the office of the Lexington Township Trustees by the specified date and time.Work will be subject to prevailing wage rates as established by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations and must comply with ODOT Specifications. Bidders must ensure non-discrimination in employment practices based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.Work cannot commence until written authorization is received from the Board of Lexington Township Trustees, and it must be completed by April 30, 2027, following the receipt of the written Notice to Proceed.The Lexington Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to modify or omit any items, and to accept bids that are deemed most favorable under the given conditions. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best bid, which may not necessarily be the lowest bid, as determined by the Board's discretion.
