Western Avenue Traffic Flow Improvements Project-Project No. 8809

The work comprises without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary to install and implement an Adaptive Traffic Control Solution (ATCS), including modifications to existing medians, upgrades to traffic signals, and installation of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) improvements as shown on the Plans and as described in the Contract Documents. This work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction and applicable regulations, such as Caltrans, Cities of Rancho Palos Verdes, Los Angeles, and Lomita. The quantity of work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximate only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the Director of Public Works. The contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all materials and complete installation thereof (including all necessary works such as foundations) at the project location.
