STATE OF ALASKADEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC FACILITIESCENTRAL REGIONDIVISION OF DESIGN & ENGINEERING SERVICESNOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALSRFP No. 25272007 – Cultural Resources Services for Seward Highway Remote Avalanche Control Systems (RACS)The Contractor shall provide Cultural Resources services to conduct a cultural resources study/survey at 10 sites along the Seward Highway for the Summit Lake (MP 44.5), Holiday (MP 91.2) and Snow Gully (MP 91.6) slide paths.IRIS No.   CFHWY01231A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately July 2026 to December 2027.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be less than $200,000.The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available July 27, 2026 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK.
