Exclusive Vending Services

Paramount Unified School District (“District”) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide exclusive vending services at designated District school and administrative sites.The selected contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, installation, stocking, maintenance, repair, inventory management, reporting, and other services necessary to provide food and beverage vending machine operations throughout the District.Services shall include, but not be limited to:• Installation, operation, servicing, and maintenance of food and beverage vending machines at approved District locations.• Provision of healthy food and beverage products that comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including USDA Smart Snacks in School requirements, California competitive food and beverage regulations, and District wellness policies.• Routine stocking, cleaning, sanitation, repair, replacement, and customer service for all vending machines.• Inventory tracking and reporting capabilities that allow the District to monitor sales and machine activity.• Collection and remittance of commissions to the District in accordance with the resulting agreement.• Provision of product nutritional information and documentation demonstrating regulatory compliance.• Maintenance of all required licenses, permits, certifications, and insurance.• Compliance with all applicable federal procurement requirements, including Buy American provisions and Child Nutrition Program regulations.The District intends to award an initial two (2) year agreement, with any extensions or renewals subject to mutual agreement and approval by the District. The District reserves the right to award to a single proposer, make multiple awards, or reject any or all proposals in accordance with the Request for Proposals.Refer to the complete RFP documents for detailed requirements, specifications, evaluation criteria, and contract terms.
