ETR Vehicles, LLC for OEM parts and service

*** THIS IS NOT A BID *** The description of services intended for purchase from a sole source is posted in accordance with section 3.9, Procurement Ordinance 25-11, and will be posted for a minimum of 15 business days. Commodity or Service Required: Purchase of ETR Vehicles, LLC OEM parts and service Description: Lee County Fleet Management Department seeks to execute a sole-source procurement for OEM parts and service by ETR Vehicles, LLC. ETR is the only factory authorized dealer for OEM parts for the Ford Ambulances by American Emergency Vehicle (AEV) in use by Lee County. ETR Vehicles, LLC is a factory authorized dealer for the custom-built ambulance “boxes” that Lee County EMS purchases. Lee County Fleet Management purchases OEM parts as well as any specialty tools needed to complete necessary maintenance and repairs for these vehicles. Fleet Management currently provides repairs and service to sixty-four (64) ambulances with the AEV custom boxes on them. This will increase by an additional ten (10) units that are anticipated to be delivered in 2027. Intended Sole Source: ETR Vehicles, LLC Justification for /Sole Source Acquisition: ETR Vehicles, LLC. provides the county with factory authorized and custom parts, repair service and warranty work for American Emergency Vehicles (EAV). ETR Vehicles, LLC is the only factory authorized dealer for OEM parts for ambulances manufactured by AEV in use by Lee County. The parts supplied are for repairs needed for the “ box” portion of the ambulance which is custom built to Lee County EMS specifications. Lee County has specific specialized requirements for the Ambulance “boxes” and repair parts that can only be obtained or provided by ETR Vehicles, LLC. Recommended Procurement Approach: For the reason(s) stated above, Lee County Procurement Management intends to utilize the Sole Source Procurement method to purchase from ETR Vehicles, LLC to supply the above.
