2026 Notice Inviting Request For Qualifications/Proposals (RFQ/RFP) For Consultant And On-Call Services Related To Landscape Architect Services

The City’s selected Landscape Architect will provide on-call consulting services to the City. Below are the tasks expected to be performed:•Review landscaping and irrigation plans submitted by private developers for compliance with City standards and MWELO.•Prepare and/or review landscaping and irrigation plans and specifications for City projects, such as parks and City-maintained right-of-way.•Periodic review and update of the City’s Arterial Streetscape Master Plan.•Conduct inspections of landscaping and irrigation installation and verify consistency with approved plans as needed.•Availability of the assigned landscape architect to work from the City office once per week.•Provide guidance to City residents on landscape and irrigation issues.•Provide consultation and other assistance to City staff on subjects concerning landscaping and irrigation.•Attend periodic meetings and public hearings as needed.
