Johnson Street Bridge Replacement and Public Utilities Relocation

The Johnson Street Bridge Replacement Project will replace the existing aging bridge over the C-10 Canal with a modern structure that improves safety, reliability, and long-term resiliency for vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists. The project is near construction readiness following completion of regulatory coordination, and risk-reduction efforts. Construction will be performed in a constrained urban corridor with active traffic and adjacent waterways, requiring effective maintenance of traffic, environmental controls, and phased construction sequencing.A key element of the project is the relocation and protection of City-owned water and wastewater utilities that currently conflict with the proposed bridge footprint.
