Columns Repair and Structural Improvements at Northeast Transfer Station Truck Wash Building

The scope of this project is to repair sections of the existing steel columns exhibiting partial corrosion and to coat the entire steel structure of the truck-wash building located at the Miami-Dade County Department of Solid Waste Northeast Transfer Station. The work includes removal and disposal of corroded column bases, furnishing and installing replacement steel stub columns, fabrication and installation of bracket systems for temporary support, recoating of the building’s entire steel structure, repair of defects in the building structure, and preparation and submission of as-built documentation.
