Multifamily SHIP Application 2025 RFA

Solicitation for funding availability for SHIP’s multifamily rental strategy. Per the governing Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP), Monroe County is required to advertise SHIP funding opportunities in a newspaper of general circulation and in periodicals serving ethnic and diverse neighborhoods for a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to the opening of the application period. Accordingly, SHIP applications will be accepted beginning AUGUST 10, 2026. Applications submitted prior to August 10, 2026, will be considered received on AUGUST 10, 2026, for processing purposes. No preference, advantage, or special consideration will be given based on an earlier submission date. Applications will be processed in accordance with the priorities, eligibility requirements, and funding availability established by the Monroe County Local Housing Assistance Plan (LHAP) and the State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding or assistance. Applicants are encouraged to submit a complete application with all required documentation. Incomplete applications may delay processing and may not be considered until all required information has been received.
