The Cargo and Industrial Real Estate Division of the City’s Harbor Department is requesting proposals from qualified entities to enter into a Permit to lease, develop, operate and maintain two parcels consisting of 82,646 Sq. Ft. of industrial land located at East “I” Street and Alameda Street in Wilmington. Permissible uses include electric vehicle heavy-duty drayage truck charging (EV Truck Charging) facility utilizing both parcels. The Permit arising from this RFP will have a term of ten years, plus two, five-year renewal option(s) exercisable by the successful Proposer, subject to payment of an extension option fee, and other conditions as outlined in the Permit. The commencement date will be determined by the terms of the Permit and only after all City approvals are secured. More specifically, the Permit is subject to the full completion of all review and approval processes required by the City Charter, Administrative Code, and other applicable law, inclusive of approval by the Board of Harbor Commissioners and Los Angeles City Council. The selected Proposer will be required to comply with all rules and regulations governing development and use of the Premises including, but not limited to, those noted in Section 2.4 of the RFP, and the Port Master Plan.
