Home Energy Improvement Project

Action Pathways is seeking bids from subcontractors for a home energy improvement project under the North Carolina Weatherization Assistance Program. This program is sponsored by the State Department of Environment and Natural Resources Weatherization Program Office. The work involves weatherizing homes across several counties including Anson, Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Cumberland, Hoke, Montgomery, Moore, Pender, Richmond, Robeson, Sampson, and Scotland during the period from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The subcontracted work will include installing energy-saving measures, servicing and/or installing heating equipment, and performing minor electrical and plumbing repairs in customers' homes.There will be a bidders' conference on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Action Pathways located at 325 Buie Circle, Fayetteville, NC, 28314, to discuss the project details.Bids will be accepted starting from May 25, 2026, at 09:00 AM until April 29, 2027. Bids must be submitted to Action Pathways at 4525 Campground Road, Fayetteville, NC, c/o Lolita Grant, Weatherization Bid Packet, P.O. Box 25759, Fayetteville, NC 28314. Contractors must include a copy of their business license, trade certification, and proof of various insurances in their bid package. Faxed bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened weekly on Tuesdays at 3:00 PM at Action Pathways, 325 Buie Circle, Fayetteville, NC 28314, and contractors will be notified of the bid award upon final approval from the NC Department of Environment and Natural Resources Office.
