The White River School District 47-1 is seeking sealed bids for the construction of a fence and gates. Bids must be submitted by 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24, 2026, at the School District Business Office located at 501 East Third Street, White River, South Dakota. All bids will be publicly opened and read at the specified time, and will be reviewed and acted upon by the White River Board of Education.Bidders are required to use the Bid Proposal Form provided by the School District. Completed forms should be returned to Kim Olson, the Business Manager, at the same address. It is important that bidders clearly indicate on the envelope that it contains a “Fence Construction Bid”.The project involves providing and installing 1,120 feet of 6' commercial galvanized chain link fence, which includes two 20' cantilever gates and barbwire. The project will also adhere to Davis-Bacon wage requirements.The School Board retains the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities.
