2026 Powwow Royalty Crowns / Medallions

The Waubun-Ogema-White Earth School is inviting bids for the creation of beaded crowns and medallions for their 2026 Royalty. Bidders are required to provide two beaded crowns for the Junior Princess and Senior Princess, as well as two beaded medallions for the Junior Brave and Senior Brave. All submissions must be in a sealed envelope and received by 2:00 PM on Friday, December 12, 2026. Bids can be submitted via mail or hand-delivered to Patti Degroat, Indian Ed Director, at Waubun High School, 1013 3rd Street, PO Box 98, Waubun, MN 56589. Submissions must include the artist's contact information and a bid amount per item, clearly separating material costs and labor. Additionally, an example or drawing of the crowns and medallions must be provided, showcasing the color scheme defined using the Thunderbird logo/colors. The successful bidder will need to deliver all completed crowns and medallions to Patti Degroat at Waubun School by 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2026. The District will cover 100 percent of approved materials costs, which must be pre-approved and supported by an itemized list and receipts. The artist fee will be paid in two installments based on project completion. Late delivery will result in a reduction of the final artist fee payment.
