ONLY PAPER SUBMISSIONS SHALL BE ACCEPTED.  SEE SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS AT HTTP://OCCOMMUNITYSERVICES.ORG/HCD/HOUSING BID NO. 1603-001 – 2016 PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY IS INCORPORATED INTO BID NO. 1603-002 - 2016 PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY (NOFA) – ADDENDUM 1 The purpose of the 2016 Permanent Supportive Housing Notice of Funding Availability – ADDENDUM 1 is to make available up to an additional four million dollars in Orange County Housing Successor Agency funds and/or Federal HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds to promote the acquisition, new construction and acquisition/rehabilitation of Permanent Supportive Housing and an additional 100 Project-Based Vouchers to Orange County’s extremely low-income households who are homeless. HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT & HOMELESS PREVENTION will accept submissions for the 2016 Permanent Supportive Housing Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) – ADDENDUM 1 on an over the counter basis per the terms of the NOFA/ ADDENDUM 1 . Funds are available until the NOFA and its Addendum 1 closes, is replaced by a new NOFA, or until all available funds are committed, whichever occurs first.  Interested and qualified applicants who can successfully demonstrate their ability to provide supportive housing for extremely low-income households who are homeless are encouraged to submit proposals.
