East End & Long Meadows Parks Renovation Early Demolition

Balfour Beatty - Holt Brothers, City of Durham Parks, a Joint Venture, is inviting bid proposals for the East End & Long Meadows Parks Renovation – Early Demolition project. The bid packages include 01H-General Trades, 02A-Demolition, and 31E-Earthwork. Bids will be received and opened on September 29, 2026, at 2PM EST at The City of Durham General Services Department, Conference Room 136 located at 2011 Fay Street, Durham, NC 27704. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for September 8, 2026, at 11AM EST in Conference Room 136 at the same address. Additionally, a Non-Mandatory Site Walk will take place on September 15, 2026, at 10AM EST at East End Long Meadow Parks located at 1200 N Alston Ave, Durham, NC 27701. All pre-bid RFIs must be submitted by September 16, 2026, at 5PM EST, and the last day to prequalify is September 18, 2026, at 5PM EST. The project site is located in Durham, North Carolina, within East End and Long Meadow Parks, bounded by N Alston Ave, Holloway Street, and Liberty Street. The work includes site protections, daily cleanup, cutting and capping of utilities, removal of site accessories, structure demolition, abatement, site clearing, import and export of soil, fine grading, site entrances, and seeding.
