ABK Daycare Emergency Egress Project

The Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh is seeking sealed bids for the ABK Daycare Emergency Egress Project, AMP-02. Construction work is anticipated to commence in December 2026. Bid documents will be available starting August 31, 2026, and can be accessed from the Housing Authority's website, www.hacp.org. Bidders are encouraged to register on the website to download the bid documents at no cost. For those who prefer physical copies, electronic versions of the bid documents, including forms, project manuals, and drawings, can be collected in person by appointment from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh's Procurement Department located at 412 Boulevard of the Allies, 6th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. A Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit is scheduled for September 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Community Room Envision Center, 2305 Bedford Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. Bidders should be prepared to review all necessary aspects of the construction site. Bids must be submitted to the HACP One Stop Shop at the same address until 10:00 a.m. on September 30, 2026, when all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bidders may also submit their proposals online; detailed instructions are available in the project manual or on the HACP website. Physical bids can be dropped off in person until the deadline, and mailed bids must arrive at the specified address by the deadline. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days following the bid opening without the Housing Authority's consent. Compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity requirements for Federally Assisted Construction Contracts is mandatory.
