1.01 Project SummaryContract Type: As-Needed ConstructionContract Number: 12184.51Project Title: As-Needed Airfield Electrical Testing, Repairs, and ConstructionDelivery Type: As-Needed Construction ServicesFunding: Local Funding Source 1.02 Project Description:As-Needed construction services are needed to perform photometric testing of runway lights, as well as perform repairs and construction for runway lighting, taxiway lighting, and associated airfield electrical infrastructure on an as-needed basis. 1.03 Contract Duration:The Contract duration is Time is 5 years beginning on the date the Contract is certified by the Controller. In accordance with Francisco Administrative Code Section 6.64(a), regardless of the Contract duration, no Contract Service Order (CSO) will be issued after four years from the certification date of the Contract. If the Contract durations is less than four years, CSOs may by issued throughout the entire Contract duration. Refer to Document 00 54 39.01 (Contract Time and Liquidated Damages) for additional details. 1.04 Estimate:The estimated cost of construction is $4,400,000 - $5,100,000.  1.05 License Requirements:California Class “C-10” license is required at the time of Bid. 1.06 LBE Subcontracting Requirement:The Local Business Enterprise (LBE) subcontracting requirement is 5% of the Contract Sum.  1.07 Pre-Bid Meeting:A virtual pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 am, Pacific Time, on Thursday, September 3, 2026, using Microsoft Teams video conferencing. Completed Bids and required documents must be uploaded in Portable Document Format (PDF). Bids received after the Bid opening time will not be considered.
