24 Water Transmission Line

The City of Jonesborough is seeking bids for the construction of a 24" water transmission line. The project involves approximately 32,100 linear feet of 24" ductile iron water transmission line, including fittings, valves, hydrants, air release valves, road bores, and other related work as detailed in the project drawings and specifications.A pre-bid conference will be scheduled after the bid date is set. Bidders are advised to refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the bidding documents for all requirements regarding bid submission, qualifications, procedures, and contract award.Bids must be submitted to the Town of Jonesborough at 123 Boone Street, Jonesborough, TN 38569, by Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 1:30 P.M. local eastern time. Bids will be publicly opened and read at that time. Bids from individuals not on the Engineer's Plan Holders List will not be considered.To obtain bidding documents, interested parties can visit GRW Engineers, Inc. at 404 BNA Drive, Suite 201, Nashville, TN 37217, or access the GRW website (grwinc.com). A fee of $100.00 is required for each digital set of documents, while a paper copy will cost $300.00. Payment is non-refundable. Bids cannot be withdrawn within sixty days after the scheduled bid submission date.This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements, which mandate that all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in the project must be produced in the United States, unless an approved waiver is obtained.
