Towing Contract Bid

Hanover Township is seeking sealed bids for professional towing services to be submitted at the Hanover Township Municipal Building located at 1267 Sans Souci Parkway, Hanover Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. Bids must be received by 11:00 AM on October 2, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time in the Township Commissioners Meeting Room. Bids should be clearly labeled as 'TOWING CONTRACT BID'. Bidders are required to perform all duties outlined in the specifications and bidding documents related to the general towing, storage, and reporting needs of the Township.Contact and bidding documents, including technical specifications, will be available without deposit from the Secretary of Hanover Township at the Township Municipal Building starting August 31, 2026, during business hours from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Interested parties can reach the office at (570) 825-1241 or (570) 825-1273. Bidders are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the Township's geographical area and review the scope of work and contract documents before bidding, as failure to do so is at their own risk.The contract will be governed by Labor Standards, State and Federal Wage Determination Decision, and Anti-Kickback Regulations as issued by the Secretary of Labor. Bids may be held for up to sixty (60) days for review before awarding the contract, during which time no bidder may withdraw their bid.
