RFP Springfield Gas Main Extension

The Metropolitan Utilities District (District) is seeking qualifications and proposals from an experienced Nebraska-licensed engineering firm (Consultant) to provide preliminary engineering, final design, bidding services, and construction-phase support for approximately five (5) miles of 16-inch coated steel high-pressure natural gas distribution main generally along Platteview Road from South 72nd Street to South 132nd Street in Sarpy County, Nebraska. The pipeline will have an established MAOP of 275 psig and will initially operate at approximately 125 psig.Submit one (1) electronic copy of the proposal in PDF format via email to the Project Engineer (a download link is acceptable if the file size is large), and five (5) hard copies, by the due date in Attachment II.Sections 1 through 5 shall comprise the Technical Proposal. Section 6 shall be submitted separately in the sealed Cost Proposal envelope and shall not be included in the electronic Technical Proposal.Submit cost information only in a separate sealed envelope. Technical proposals will be evaluated before cost proposals are opened. Cost information shall not be submitted electronically.Note: The Proposal drop-off location for this Project is the M.U.D. Headquarters Lobby at 7350 World Communication Dr. Omaha, Nebraska, 68122.
