Interior School/Gymnasium Roof

The Kadoka Area School District 35-2 is seeking bids for the replacement of the interior school and gymnasium roof. The work involves the removal of the existing EPDM membrane, wall flashings, and metal trims, as well as inspecting the roof decking for water damage. New materials will be installed, including a self-adhered vapor barrier and new layers of polyisocyanurate. The project also includes the installation of new coverboard, fully adhered new EPDM, and prefabricated boot flashings for pipe penetrations. An alternate bid for remediation of the existing roof and any damage is also included. A mandatory site visit is required for prospective bidders, which can be scheduled at the Issuing Office from Monday to Thursday between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Bidders must submit their proposals to the Kadoka Area School District Board of Education Business Office by September 9, 2029, at 4 pm local time. Bids will be publicly opened and read at that time. It is important to denote 'Roof Replacement' or 'Ad Alternate' on the envelope. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
