2026-27 Rock Salt

The joint municipalities of Pleasant Hills Borough, West Mifflin Borough, Baldwin Borough, South Park Township, Mt. Lebanon, Edgewood Borough, Jefferson Hills Borough, and North Versailles Township are issuing a notice for bids for the project entitled '2026-27 Rock Salt'. Specifications and proposal forms can be obtained through QuestCDN starting August 25, 2026. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of $100,000, made payable to the participating municipalities. The legislative bodies of the member municipalities reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid. Bids will be received by Pleasant Hills Borough until 11:00 AM on Friday, September 18, 2026, and will be opened and posted immediately through the QuestCDN electronic procurement platform. All municipalities are requesting bids to be made and will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder(s) as described in the Contract Documents. Bidders are required to purchase the bid documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit of $100 from QuestCDN using project number 10338621. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via video conference, and interested parties may contact the Borough for access information prior to the date and time identified. The municipalities anticipate awarding contracts within thirty days of the bid opening. No bona fide bids shall be altered or withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the bid opening.
