Supply and Delivery of Zinc Orthophosphate for the City of Newark's Montclair Re-Chlorination Station

The City of Newark Department of Water & Sewer Utilities is seeking sealed bids for the supply and delivery of zinc orthophosphate for the Montclair Re-Chlorination Station. Bids must be submitted by September 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Procurement and Budget Unit, City Hall, Newark, New Jersey. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at this time.Bid packages can be picked up or requested via email at waterandsewer@ci.newark.nj.us at no cost during normal business hours. Bidders must provide a valid fax number for any addenda.To submit a bid, bidders must use the standard Proposal Form included in the bid document package. Each proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the solicitation title and contract number. Facsimile submissions will not be accepted. A bid guarantee of 10% of the total bid amount, not exceeding $20,000, must accompany the bid. Guarantees for unsuccessful bidders will be returned after the contract is awarded.All bids must comply with the requirements of New Jersey statutes regarding affirmative action and corporate ownership statements. Bidders are encouraged to send their proposals via certified mail or overnight delivery to ensure timely receipt. The bid opening will be conducted in real-time and accessible via Zoom for remote viewing.
