FY2025 Altair Drive Improvements Phase 3

Washington Township is seeking sealed bids for the FY2025 Altair Drive Improvements Phase 3 project. The work involves providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the tasks outlined in the Specifications and Plans for the project located in Washington Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey. This includes activities such as milling and overlay, replacing concrete sidewalks and curbs, traffic striping, and restoration efforts. All work must adhere to the NJDOT's Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, as amended.There will be a public bid opening at the Washington Township Municipal Building on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 10 A.M. prevailing time. Bidders and the general public are encouraged to attend.Bidders must submit their proposals in a sealed envelope addressed to Christine Ciallella, Municipal Clerk, and include a Bid Bond or Certified or Cashier's Check of at least 10% of the bid amount, not exceeding $20,000. This must be accompanied by a consent from an approved surety company to provide the required bonds upon contract award.Specifications and bid forms prepared by Pennoni Associates, Inc. are available for inspection at the Office of the Engineer during regular business hours. An electronic copy of the bid documents can be requested via email at VJacovini@pennoni.com, with a cc to RNasuti@Pennoni.com, at no cost. Bids must be submitted on the prescribed forms, including one original and one copy.The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten days after the Notice of Award or forfeit their bid security. Bid securities will be returned to all but the three lowest responsible bidders, while others will be returned after the contract is awarded and signed. Bidders must comply with various state laws and regulations regarding affirmative action and business registration. Washington Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or make awards to the most advantageous bidder.
