The Borough of Franklin Park is seeking sealed proposals for the construction of a public works garage and a pole barn. The work includes site excavation, preparation, and construction of a 60'x40'x20' garage with metal siding and roofing, concrete floor, foundations, a retaining wall, and electrical service extensions. The project is a design-build contract, and the contractor must prepare final construction drawings to obtain a building permit. There are add alternates for additional installations such as floor drains and gas heating units. Bidders must comply with applicable grant conditions as the project is partially financed by a CFA Local Share Account grant.There will be no pre-bid meeting mentioned in the notice.Bidders are required to purchase the bid documents in PDF format for a non-refundable fee of $175.00 from QuestCDN using project numbers 10286440 for Contract A and 10286444 for Contract B. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents should be directed to LSSE.Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via video conference. Interested parties should contact the Borough of Franklin Park for access information prior to the bid opening date.All proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by the Borough of Franklin Park and must include a certified bid bond of 10% of the bid amount. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 90 calendar days after the submission deadline. Compliance with Pennsylvania's Steel Products Procurement Act and Prevailing Wage Act is required.
