Public Works Garage Contract A and Contract B

The Borough of Franklin Park is seeking sealed proposals for the construction of a public works garage and a pole barn. The work includes site excavation, preparation, and construction of a 60'x40'x20' public works garage with metal siding and roofing, concrete floor, concrete foundations, retaining wall, electrical service extension, subpanel, wiring facility, lighting, receptacles, exhaust fans, and air louvers. The project is a design-build contract, and the contractor must prepare final construction drawings to obtain a Building Permit. There are add alternates for installing floor drains, an oil/water separator, connections to the sanitary sewer, gas service extension, and gas heating units. Contract A pertains to the construction of a pre-engineered metal building, while Contract B is for a pole barn style building.There will be a public opening of bids, which will be read aloud via video conference. Interested parties should contact the Borough of Franklin Park for access information prior to the bid opening date.Bidders are required to purchase bid documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit of $175.00 from QuestCDN using project numbers 10286440 for Contract A and 10286444 for Contract B. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents should be directed to LSSE.All proposals must be accompanied by a certified bid bond of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, made payable to the Borough of Franklin Park. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities. Bids may not be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled receipt time. Bidders must comply with the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act for contracts exceeding $25,000. The Borough will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder or reject all bids within ninety (90) days of the bid opening, with the possibility of extending this period to one hundred twenty (120) days if necessary.
