Italian Citizens Enjoyment Club Roof and HVAC Improvements Bid

Pittston Township is inviting sealed bids for the replacement of the existing rubber roof and the installation of approximately 2450-square-foot rubber roof, along with the removal and installation of a new HVAC system and related duct work at the Italian Citizens Enjoyment Club, located at 126 Oak Street, Pittston, PA 18640. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 2, 2026, at 1:30 PM. Interested bidders should meet at the Italian Citizens Enjoyment Club, located at 126 Oak Street, Pittston, PA 18640. It is highly recommended that prospective bidders familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents prior to submitting their bids. Bidders must submit their bids unconditionally, and no bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted. Contract Documents will be available for pickup at the Pittston Township Municipal Building, located at 421 Broad Street, Pittston, PA 18640, starting August 28, 2026. Plans and specifications can also be obtained electronically from the Engineer listed at the end of the advertisement. Prospective bidders are responsible for obtaining a complete set of Contract Documents. Sealed bids will be received until 1:30 PM on Monday, September 14, 2026, and must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Italian Citizens Enjoyment Club Roof and HVAC Improvements Bid". Bids should be delivered to the Pittston Township Municipal Building at the address mentioned above. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 1:30 PM on the same day. The Board of Supervisors intends to consider the award of the contract at its regular meeting on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 6:00 PM, at the Pittston Township Municipal Building.
