Snow Removal 2026 - Plowing and Walkway

Northern Maine Community College is seeking proposals for snow removal services for the upcoming winter seasons, extending through September 30, 2029. The initial contract will last for three years, with the possibility of two additional one-year extensions at the College's discretion.There are two categories for snow removal: 1) Plowing and 2) Walkway Snow Removal. Contractors are not required to bid on both categories, and up to two contractors will be selected, one for each category. Contractors who choose to submit proposals for both categories may not be selected for both and should bid accordingly.If you have questions regarding this request for proposals or wish to schedule a site visit, please contact Julie Edgecomb-Clark at 768-2760 or via email at jedgecomb@mainecc.edu. Vendor walk-throughs will be arranged upon request.Bids must be submitted to the college by September 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The college reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
