The Crawford County Commission has determined that the county property located at 702 South Franklin St., Cuba, Missouri, is no longer required for governmental or public purposes and is now available for public sale. The property is being sold 'as is, no warranty'. Sealed bids from interested buyers will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026. The bids will be opened during the regular commission meeting on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.Site survey information can be obtained from the office of the County Clerk, and site inspections can be arranged by reaching out to Presiding Commissioner Steve Black at (573) 259-8882.All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled 'Franklin Building Bid' to be considered. The minimum bid is set at $125,000.00, and bidders must agree to pay in full via cash or cashier's check, with the sale closing within thirty (30) days of bid acceptance. Bids can be mailed or delivered in person to the office of the County Clerk, located at 302 W. Main St., #AS, Steelville, MO 65565.The Crawford County Commission retains the right to accept or reject any or all bids received.
