Peebles Department Store Revitalization Project

The City of Logan, West Virginia, is inviting qualified architectural and engineering firms to submit Expressions of Interest and Statements of Qualifications for the Peebles Department Store Revitalization Project. This project aims to revitalize the former Peebles Department Store property into a vibrant downtown destination. Potential features of the project include spaces for community activities, a multi-vendor market, and other economic-development uses. The selected firm will be responsible for various services including assessments, evaluations, design, and construction administration. Bidders must provide detailed qualifications, experience, and a proposed approach to the project. The selection process will follow the guidelines set forth in Chapter 5G of the West Virginia Code. A selection committee will evaluate submissions and shortlist firms for interviews. The final agreement will be negotiated with the highest-ranked firm. All submissions must be received by 4pm on September 19th at the City of Logan, Attention: Amber Miller-Belcher, City Clerk, 219 Dingess Street, Logan, West Virginia 25601.
